Walking the narrow road

Part 2: “Christian Nationalism” isn’t Christian

“Christian Nationalism” is a term describing a movement that took off after May of 2022 and according to Google, is of extreme interest to Idaho. Liberals seem to view it as the greatest single threat to the country. While it is easy to dismiss calls for alarm from groups we don’t like, are there actual problems with some of the ideas pushed under the label of “Christian Nationalism”? If implemented, would these ideas about government look more like historic America, or instead like 1700s France? This is a critical issue for all Christians to understand, and especially those who live in Idaho.

Part 1: Who is Israel?

The first part of this series was Who is Israel? The term “Israel” is used in both Old and New Testaments.  Paul says “ But it is not as though the word of God hath come to nought. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel” (Rom 9:6 NKJ).  So we see that this is a deeper subject than many realize.  Christians are commanded to “Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15 ASV).  To handle the Bible accurately takes study: diligent, focused effort.  Are you tired of lazy, shallow sound bites and want to understand deeply and accurately the Biblical concept of Israel?  Do you want to understand the origins of today’s often unbiblical call to support any potential evil – as long as it is done in the name of the ancient kingdom of Israel?  Check out the recording of this exciting event below:
